This is a picture that I painted for my cousin last Christmas. Every year, we get each other a hippo for Christmas because of the song. Look it up :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtqIM_bPTws
Jenn is home again from Korea. She brought home two gigantic hugenormous Korean drums. This is a pic of Jett and her mom, Jenn, with a truck load of donations for the homeless shelter. Please note that is MY hat on Jenn's head.
These are my three girls working in the garden several years ago. The dogs have helped this year as well but these pictures were cuter! They both love to carry the watering can. Tank loves to steal Jenn's tools when she isn't looking. And Jett loves to lay in the dirt next to the mom and soak in the sun.
This is Jenn and I at the Clark College Queer Prom. I bought a lavender tux shirt for the occassion. My friend, Becky, made our flowers. I also wore a black jacket that I took off for this picture. The next day I had a really hard time walking because I was so sore from dancing.
This year I learned to make balloon animals. The young people that I work with and I have done several volunteer events where we made balloon animals for children. We are trying to add this heart to our list of designs. It's harder than it looks. I can also now make a balloon guitar. I'll show a picture of that later. It's amazing how good it feels to be able to hand a custom made balloon animal to a child who thinks you are a hero for making it. I like being a hero to little kids.
So, my honey is in Korea this week with the music department from Clark College. This is a picture of her and Tank. The dogs and I are bachelors this week.
This is my beautiful Jett. She is my very first big dog. This picture was taken the day that we took a truck load of donations to the homeless shelter. Jett has been a therapy dog since she was seven weeks old. One of Jett's nicknames is Magoo. She is also called a Princess. Tank is called the Troll. The princess and the Troll. It just seems to fit :)
This is a picture of Tank with the statue at the entrance to the Dornbecker's Children's Hospital. She went with me to visit my nephew. While there, she visited with several kids, not just ours. Tank has turned into a very fine dog.
